Alex, Cullin, and Noemie ALL GOING TO STATES!!!

Please join me in congratulating Alex, Cullin and Noemie for successfully making it to the State Championships!!!

For the first time in the history of the track and field program, North Salem will be sending athletes from the boys and girls team to represent section 1 and North Salem at the Indoor State Championships!!!

During the one of the most important meets of the year

this is what this group of phenomenal athletes accomplished:

Alex Monaco - Section One Champion Long Jump (School Record 21'2.5")
Cullin Burdett - 3rd in 1600 meter run (Indoor personal record 4:26.1)
Noemie Bechu - 4th in 300 meter run (School Record 41.08)

Congratulations!!!...The State Championship is hosted by Cornell University and will be contested on Saturday March 2nd.

Practice is cancelled on Monday 2/18/13.  The wind chill will be negative 5 degrees   Please run on your own later in the day.

We will do the speed workout on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m.

Class C Champs!

Please join me in congratulating those athletes who competed in the Class C Championships last night.  Medal Winners include: Jake Acito, Emma Allen, and Cullin Burdett.  Noemie Bechu not only won a Class C Championship in the 300 meter dash but she broke her own school record for the 4^th time by running a 41.89 which ranks her top 10 in Section 1.
