First Meet of the New Year!!!

The first meet of the year went well. The team has pushed through the practice/weather/running adversity that comes along with Winter Track. The Dendy Memorial Meet was the chance for the athletes to get back on track. The meet also featured the return of several athletes who have been sidelined since the beginning of the season. Check out the video and meet highlights below.

  2. I think that I personally had a good race. I strongly feel that there is a lot of room for improvement, and to help me do this i could work on hitting my planed split times. Overall I think that everyone was happy with their races and had a good time.... from my point of view.

  3. I think we all did really good in the meet. I noticed in the video when I was approaching the bar that I was not running as fast as I could to the bar. To improve on that I could practice really running towards the bar a lot faster, that would really improve my jump.

  4. I think North Salem did really good in the meet. I noticed in my 200 and long jump I had very poor form.

  6. Watching the video, it looked like I was slowing down during my finish. In my next race I want to stay strong during my finish. Otherwise, the team did very well.

  9. Yea I guess overall people did well. I was disappointed with my time and I know I can knock 15-18 seconds off of it. I am determined and my goal will eventually be complete. I will have to push through mentally to complete this goal. Not a big fan of the song though.

  10. The team as a whole did very well, there were a lot of PR's. In the video, it seemed like my finish for the relay was weak, I may have been focusing on the handoff rather than my speed at that point. I will have to stay focused on going as fast as I can at the end of my relay legs in the future.

  11. The team did very well and there seemed to be a good amount of Pr's. That show how hard the kids on the team work. also, the video seemed to have been shot by professionals.

  13. thank you to Nick and Reilly for filming and the coaches for putting this together. I think it really helps us evaluate ourselves and get feedback. I am not going to get too worried about slowing down. I'm going to go to the next meet with the goal to beat my current best, not my most recent race.
