Take a look at the following keys to a great start:
Head down (looking 2 feet in front of you)
Back (flat to slight angle)
Drive arms (opposite arm opposite leg)
Drive knees (power steps at the start)
Drive out (not up)

Things to do before Winter Track starts
List of things to do before winter track starts:
1. Get an up to date physical.
2. Turn in medical forms to the nurse (http://northsalemschools.org/Assets/Forms/1112_interval_health_history.pdf)
3. Turn in permission form to Coach Holst (http://northsalemschools.org/Assets/Forms/1011_participation_form.pdf)
4. Buy running shoes (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DWScZgYbVYaSb1XxpCSt94ddQU_CTsLGzbrX7Kq70Oo/edit?hl=en&pli=1)
5. Have multiple layers of clothes to run in.
*******First practice will be Monday November 14th (2:30 to 5:00)************
